What Makes ITG Different?

ITG is dedicated to providing new approaches to structuring, transforming and managing the workplace. To meet the needs of today's workplace, we have started with a strong theoretical basis, and then built capabilities that implement this theory.

ITG has strong expertise in manpower and productivity. ITG has particularly strong expertise in manpower and productivity. Two of ITG's owners had the privilege of working with Dr. Marvin Mundel, a noted pioneer and author in this area. As a result, we use approaches based on sound theory, allowing us to accurately model organizations in ways that have eluded other firms.

We use a multi-disciplinary approach. Expertise in manpower and productivity alone is far from sufficient. There are typically three facets to effecting positive changes in an organization; engineering changes to business processes, applying automation to these changes, and getting buy-in from the workforce. We believe that it's critical to keep these three facets seamlessly integrated. Some examples:

ITG's manpower and productivity expertise is supported by our unique J-Accomplish suite of web-based software. J-Accomplish is no flash in the pan; its "grandfather," a desktop application called FENYX, was developed nearly 15 years ago. FENYX II moved the capabilities to the web; enabling world-wide access. J-Accomplish was created as an enterprise-class solution, retaining the basic functionality of FENYX II, but also integrating it with capabilities for manning management and collection of workload data. J-Accomplish is now providing our clients accurate, detailed data in near-real-time, enabling fact-based decision making. One of the many exciting uses of J-Accomplish has been its use in support of Activity-Based Costing/Management. J-Accomplish is providing the elusive linkage between costs and work outputs, eliminating the need to "guesstimate" this relationship.

As mature as J-Accomplish is, development continues. Our clients and business partners continue to see the logical next steps to get even more value from J-Accomplish. We are fortunate to have talented software developers who can make changes to the software relatively quickly. They are not only capable of immediately grasping what is being asked of the system, but they are also able to visualize the data structures involved, and often suggest ways to organize data to gain even greater value.
