  1. Contracting Instructors

    DUTIES

    As an Instructor of Contract Management, you will apply your knowledge, experience, technical, managerial, and leadership skills to teach and facilitate higher levels of learning for the Federal Acquisition Community.

    • Successful candidates for this position must provide evidence of or demonstrate ability to:
      Identify depth of knowledge in DoD Contract Management policy, practice, process and regulations applicable to DoD systems acquisition management. Demonstrate an understanding of the latest changes/issues (commercialization, partnering with industry, teaming, etc.) and the contracting professional’s role as a business advisor to the customer. An in depth knowledge of contracts/business management is required for this position. This element includes experience in and knowledge of techniques and approaches required to organize and implement good contract management practices, with an understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of contract management.
    • Present and facilitate instruction in traditional classroom settings at various client locations. Will require local travel to client sites to conduct lectures, simulations, and workshops.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Knowledge of or equivalent understanding of CON 120, CON 218, CON 215
    • 5 years or more of experience in contract management
    • DAWIA Level III certification is preferred or equivalent teaching experience
    • Ability to work 40 hours a week for two week course delivery

  2. Software Engineer

    DESCRIPTION

    The Software Engineer will work as part of a team to develop server-side web-based enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record that demonstrates initiative and teamwork in development of creative solutions to meet the needs of customers. The Software Engineer will participate in development efforts under the direction of a Technical Project Manager or Senior Software Engineer. The Software Engineer must have the ability to effectively document and communicate technical requirements in written and oral formats. The Software Engineer must also demonstrate flexibility and the ability to rapidly learn, assimilate and integrate new concepts, business logic and technology. The Software Engineer will participate in the preparation and delivery of presentations to new and existing customers as required and in coordination of customer software implementations. Some travel is required for this position.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Technical Experience

    3+ years of overall software development experience; 2+ years of experience with web-oriented JAVA (J2EE) technologies (Servlets, JDBC, JSP, Java Mail), relational database development experience, developing object models; 2+ years of general experience with systems administration.

    Beneficial Technical Experience

    Integration of Report Development technologies (JfreeReport/JfreeChart, Crystal Reports, etc), SOAP, XML, JMS.

    Special Consideration given to candidates with software development or other relevant experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Management Engineering, Human Resources, ERP/MRP, CRM/Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, Accounting/Finance.

    Additional Requirements / Information

    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Applied Engineering, or Management Information Systems or similar discipline.
    Alternatively: Masters degree or higher will be taken into consideration.

  3. Junior Analyst

    DESCRIPTION

    The Junior Analyst should have some knowledge and experience in public speaking, providing instruction, job improvement, organizational development and clerical. This experience could translate into facilitation, training methodology, delivery and evaluation, process re-engineering, understanding transformation/change management, business management techniques, and organizational development. This Analytical position predominantly will perform at an entry and/or development level. Primarily performing routine engineering, scientific or analytical work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in creating out a sequence of related tasks. Position will work under the direction of a senior-related position.

    REQUIREMENTS

    A Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or office practices, Management Engineering, Business, Engineering, Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline or a minimum of three or more years experience in business process re-engineering, manpower, resource analysis, and related areas.

  4. Management Analyst

    DESCRIPTION

    The Management Analyst must have specialized experience in facilitation, training methodology development and evaluation, process re-engineering across all phases, identifying best practices, transformation/change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices. An in depth knowledge of manpower and resource requirements along with appropriate organizational regulations. Possess the capabilities and knowledge to apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process improvements and modernization projects. Duties include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, creating and assessing performance measurements. Provide group facilitation, interviewing, and training and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.

    REQUIREMENTS

    This labor category represents ten or more years experience in business process re-engineering, manpower and resource analysis, and application knowledge to apply these principles and/or experience in functional analysis, design, integration, documentation and related subject matter.

    Education

    A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business and or related disciplines or the equivalent experience.

  5. Senior Lead Analyst

  6. Project Manager

    DESCRIPTION

    The Project Manager will direct, organize, control and manage on-site project components and project team members to ensure contractual project deliverables are fulfilled in efficient and timely manner. Must be able to manage and supervise staff, concurrent analysis and development tasks in projects, serve as on-site point of contact with the Contracting Officers Representative or Task Monitor, formulate and enforce work standards, develop schedules, review work discrepancies and communicate policies, purposes and goals of the organization, and manage resources. Individual must have specialized experience in facilitation, training methodology development and evaluation, process re-engineering across phases, identifying best practices, change management, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices. Applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Duties include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methodologies, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, and training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.

    REQUIREMENTS

    This category requires ten or more years experience in the project and/or event management market. At a minimum, the project manager possesses ten or more years of progressive management, technical and/or financial and human resource solutions and documentations. The individual will have experience participating in and managing project development from inception through deployment. Also, this resource must possess demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas, proven experience in the management and control of funds and resources.

    Education

  7. Senior Software Engineer

    DESCRIPTION

    The Senior Software Engineer will work as part of the Interactive Products Group (IPG) within Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) to develop server-side web-based enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record that demonstrates initiative and teamwork in development of creative solutions to meet the needs of customers. As an employee of ITG, the Senior Software Engineer will participate in and in some cases lead development efforts in collaboration with the other IPG Software Development team. The Senior Software Engineer must have the ability to direct the activities of junior team members in completion of development assignments and to effectively document and communicate technical requirements in written and oral formats. The Senior Software Engineer must also demonstrate flexibility and the ability to rapidly learn, assimilate and integrate new concepts, business logic and technology. The Senior Software Engineer must also be comfortable with and participate in the preparation and delivery of presentations to new and existing customers as required and in coordination of customer software implementations. Some travel is required for this position.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Technical Experience

    • 6+ years of overall software development experience
    • 4+ years of experience with web-oriented Java (J2EE) technologies (Servlets, JDBC, JSP, JavaMail)

  8. Cost/Price Analyst

    DESCRIPTION

    COST/PRICE ANALYST Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) has immediate (7/2/2018) opening for an experienced Cost/Price Analyst. This is a full-time position as an employee of ITG. Details are as follows:

    The Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) Procurement Division (PRO) requires contract administration support focusing primarily on cost/price analysis from a General Support Services Contractor (GSSC).

    Employee will accomplish the following tasks throughout the fiscal year contract in support of the PRO Division:

    • Perform cost and price analyses on the various elements of contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the direct and indirect cost elements for allowability, allocability and reasonableness;
    • Review and evaluate contract price proposals for adequacy, and compliance with laws, regulations, Cost Accounting Standards and DOE acquisition policy;
    • Request, coordinate and integrate into a comprehensive pricing report, the various technical evaluations of cost elements (i.e. direct and indirect costs, escalation factors);
    • Review contractor forward pricing rates, final overhead rates, and cost impact proposals, conducting analytical evaluation of the rates and proposals to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness;
    • Develop and recommend price/cost objectives for negotiations; and,
    • Perform other general contract administration functions, as requested.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Deliverables

    The employee shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent, professional manner that meets established milestones and delivery schedules as determined by PRO. Work products are expected to be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.

    • Prepare draft Price Analysis Report
    • Draft pre and post negotiation memoranda
    • Draft various other contract documents as requested

    Qualifications

    The candidate must possess the following qualifications

    • 3 years of cost/price analysis experience preferred;
    • Bachelor’s degree, (business or accounting degree) or equivalent years of experience preferred;
    • Knowledge of cost and price analysis principles and techniques, and of business and industry principles and practices, sufficient to analyze cost elements on a wide range of contract and modification proposals;
    • Knowledge of contract change management requirements sufficient to use reports from technical, auditors and other specialists in evaluating costs and establishing negotiation objectives;
    • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations;
    • Must have the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data and develop solutions to a variety of complex actions;
    • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment; and,
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Work will be conducted at the Department of Energy – Richland Operations Office located in Richland, WA.
