The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), notifies Industry of a Non-Information Technology Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (Non-IT APBI) on October 22, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The briefing will be at the Fredericksburg Hospitality House and Event Center, 2801 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. The objective of the Non-IT APBI is to brief Industry on acquisition opportunities from the various offices within VA and to brief other relevant topics.

Everyone benefits! Small businesses learn about upcoming opportunities and “How to Work with DOE”, and program representatives meet new small businesses capable of fufilling DOE requirements.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is presenting a FY 2015 Small Business Kick-Off Forum to share DOE initiatives and upcoming procurement opportunities, and to further the ability of small businesses to support our mission.
This free event will feature:
– Insight into potential procurements in the current and upcoming fiscal years.
– Key agency and prime contractor procurement representatives.
– Opportunities to network during the Exhibit Forum with DOE buyers, and with small business advocacy groups.

IDVA is collaborating with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ and the Illinois Department of Central Management Services to host a Procurement Showcase for Veteran-Owned Businesses on Wednesday, October 15.  See attached flyer for details.

  • Learn how to sell to the State of Illinois and U.S. Government – This event is a no-cost opportunity for veteran-owned businesses to meet with Procurement Decision Makers and learn how to obtain state and federal government contracts. Attendees will learn how to effectively navigate procurement processes and position themselves for success.
  • Meet and network with Procurement Managers – Attendees will have the chance to attend roundtable discussions and network with procurement professionals and peers.
  • Learn about special resources targeted to veteran-owned firms and entrepreneurs – Learn about getting certified as a Veteran-Owned Business in the State of Illinois to capitalize on procurement goals for veterans.

The Government Technology & Services Coalition (GTSC) is hosting three (3) industry days in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to conduct market research for human capital operations services among government contracting firms registered with SAM (System Award Management). Human capital services includes Benefits Processing and Management; Staff Acquisition; Human Resources Development; Separation Management; Data Reporting; Customer Service Center and User Support. These industry days seek a varied representation of both companies and ideas for executing TSA’s human capital services.


ITG will be in attendance on Tuesday, September 16th for the second industry day, which invites participants with experience in Recruitment and Hiring, specifically Staff Acquisition strategies and marketing; Workforce Planning; Hiring Activities; and Orientation and On-Boarding Activities.

30 June 2014 —ITG and its teaming partners, Link Technologies and Navarro Engineering and Research, have so far been awarded four task orders to perform a variety of administrative and operations tasks under Team ITG’s Blanket Purchase    doe-logoAgreement (BPA) supporting the Department of Energy, Richland-Hanford Site.


Under the teaming agreement, Team ITG will leverage a growing database of candidates in the Northwest Region along with expert project management to ensure quick on-boarding and support to these multi-year task orders.
