AIG Position Descriptions
ITG is currently seeking the following positions for Acquisition Innovations Group.
Contracting Instructor
Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG) requires individuals that have expertise in teaching and/or developing DAU-level Contracting (CON) instructions. These instructor(s) will be needed to teach classroom course offerings for various CON courses. The instructor(s) must possess significant experience in government contracting and small business methods and techniques. Additional qualification in the field of Contracting Management, such as warranted federal contracting officer experience, is desired. The instructor is responsible for all aspects of course preparation and instruction, must be current in the course material and meet current requirements for DAU certification to teach CON classroom instruction courses and provide updates.
ITG will designate schedule course offerings to be supported with at least 30 days notice and based on mutually agreeable course offerings and/or substitutions. ITG will also designate other Customer Relations Managers (CMRs) to team with the faculty member and interface with customers (students) in defining and meeting customer requirements. The position will be located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.
Requirement
- Minimum of 5 years experience teaching/developing Contracting (CON) courses.
- Minimum four-year college degree or relevant work experience. Master's degree preferred.
- DAWIA certification at Level III in Contracting
- Experience managing personnel and contractors.
- Experience with a variety of delivery methods (web-based e-learning, virtual classroom, traditional instructor-led classroom, etc.).
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions and identify and respond to operational issues.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to interact well with all levels of ITG personnel and client management.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
- Ability to handle confidential information and documents.
Program Management Instructor
Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. requires individuals that have expertise in teaching and/or developing DAU-level Program Management (PMT) instructions. These instructor(s) will be needed to teach classroom course offerings for various PMT courses. The instructor(s) must possess significant experience in the field of Program Management and should hold a minimum Acquisition Professional Certification of Level III in the Program Management specialty. Past experience in instructing PMT courses is highly desired. The instructor(s) is responsible for all aspects of course preparation and instruction, must be current in the course material and meet or be prepared to meet all current requirements course certifications.
ITG will designate scheduled course offerings to be supported with at least 30 days notice and based on mutually agreeable course offering substitution. ITG will also designate Customer Relations Managers (CMRs) to team with instructor and interface with customers in defining and meeting customer requirements. The position will be located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

The instructor(s) will be primarily needed to teach classroom course offerings for various training courses. However, some online course delivery may be required. The instructor(s) should have a working knowledge of the Acquisition Workforce Training arena. The contractor must possess significant experience in the field of DoD Systems Acquisition course development, administration, and management and be able to effectively translate that experience to provide similar training for the ITG. Past experience in delivering ACQ and HSAC courses is highly desired. The instructor(s) is responsible for all aspects of course preparation and instruction, must be current in the course material and meet or be prepared to meet all current requirements course certifications.

Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. requires individuals that have expertise in delivery and/or developing DAU-level Cost Estimating (BCF) instructions. The instructor(s) will be primarily needed to teach classroom course offerings for various training courses. However, some online course delivery may be required. The instructor(s) should have a working knowledge of the Cost Estimating arena. The contractor must possess significant experience in the field of DoD Cost Estimating course development, administration, and management and be able to effectively translate that experience to provide similar training for the ITG. Past experience in delivering BCF courses is highly desired. The instructor(s) is responsible for all aspects of course preparation and instruction, must be current in the course material and meet or be prepared to meet all current requirements course certifications.

Engineering Instructor

The instructor(s) will be primarily needed to teach classroom course offerings for various training courses. The contractor must possess significant experience in the field of DoD SYS course development, administration, and management and be able to effectively translate that experience to provide similar training for the ITG. Past experience in delivering SYS courses is highly desired. The instructor(s) is responsible for all aspects of course preparation and instruction, must be current in the course material and meet or be prepared to meet all current requirements course certifications.

Acquisition Specialist
Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. is in search of individuals that have expertise and specialize in the area of DoD Acquisitions. This position is primarily responsible for providing acquisition support for services and supplies, which includes implementing the full life-cycle acquisition requirement. The person(s) should demonstrate a vast knowledge and mastery of federal acquisition laws and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and agency specific regulations. It is also necessary for the individuals to posses superior understanding of performance-based service contracting concepts, strategies, and governing rules and regulations. Using the vast knowledge of Acquisition that this position requires, the person(s) will need to develop and review acquisition strategies, documentation, statements of objectives, source selection strategies, and business cases that aid acquisition decisions.
ITG will need the person(s) in this position to be the primary person to develop negotiation strategies and provide advice and recommendations to government Contracting Officers. The individual needs to incorporate his/her experience in the Acquisition arena to develop and review acquisition strategies, documentation, statements of objectives, source selection plans and business cases that support acquisition decisions. Lastly, the Acquisition Specialist must have the ability and desire to maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high quality work.
Requirement
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the arena of DoD Acquisitions.
- Minimum four-year Bachelor of Science degree or relevant work experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Ability to read and integrate regulatory, policy and related acquisition concepts and to apply them.
- Experience managing personnel and contractors.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently, both independently and in teams, making certain of apt completion of assignments and meeting conventional quality standards.
